Provider Training Requriments

Recipient Rights:
You are required by the state of Michigan to take an annual rights training course. We have established quarterly walk-in training fairs where you can obtain your trainings in about an hour. You DO NOT need to reserve a spot for this training. The Recipient Rights walk-in training goes from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm in the Lew Boyd room and the Kool Family Center.

Recipient Rights walk-in trainings for 2019:

February 14th, 2019 May 9th, 2019
August 8th, 2019 November 14th, 2019

If you are unable to attend these training dates, you will need to schedule to attend one of the New Hire Orientation trainings as a make-up for this missed annual training. This is required by the State of Michigan within the first 30 days of hire, and is to include all Summit Pointe employees/contractors, external providers, and respite providers/guardians. These are held every other Tuesday and are limited to 24 spots per class.

Please email Barongiere Lovelace bjl@summitpointe.org or Breanne Speer brc@summitpointe.org or call (269) 441-6464 to reserve a spot. Leave your name, who you work for, and which training date you will be attending.
