Summit Pointe Board of Directors
NOTICE OF MEETING BY REMOTE ACCESS

A meeting of the Board of Directors of Summit Pointe will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.  

 

Directors will be permitted to attend this meeting either in person, or by Zoom pursuant to Section 3a of the Open Meetings Act, MCL 15.263a.  The basis for allowing remote participation by members of the Board is the Calhoun County Board of Commissioners’ Resolution 174-2020 dated October 15, 2020, which declared a local state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic and remains in effect, and the Board’s Resolution Establishing Schedule of Regular Meetings dated May 4, 2021.

 

To limit the number of people who gather in Summit Pointe’s board room and to provide sufficient space for appropriate social distancing, members of the public and Summit Pointe staff are invited to attend the meeting by Zoom only.

Joining the Meeting and Participation by Zoom

If you join before the meeting has begun, you’ll be placed in a virtual “waiting room” until the Board’s Chair is prepared to call the meeting to order at or around 4pm.  Microphones for members of the public will remain on mute throughout the duration of the meeting, except during the Public Comment portion of the Agenda.  If you want to make a comment during the meeting, simply click the “raise hand” button either before or during the Public Comment portion of the agenda, and the meeting host will invite you to unmute your microphone in the order your request is received.  If you prefer to have a comment read during the meeting, you may send comments beforehand through the Board Contact page of this website at https://www.summitpointe.org/board-contact/The Board will not accept comments during the meeting through the “chat” feature on Zoom.

 

Members of the public who do not have a computer or internet access can listen to the meeting by calling 1-646-558-8656 and entering the following Meeting ID when prompted: 886 7051 3642. To provide a public comment using this method of joining the meeting, you must submit comments beforehand using the Board Contact page above.

 

Members of the public who wish to comment are permitted, but will not be required as a condition of providing comments, to state their name or other identifying information.
