NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING BY REMOTE ACCESS
TO: Current Summit Pointe Board Members

Please take notice that a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Calhoun County Community Mental Health Authority (Summit Pointe) will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 12:30 PM by Zoom conference.
The purpose of the Special Meeting is to award a contract on Invitation to Bid 2021-001 for a general contractor on Phase II of the construction project at Summit Pointe’s College Street site, to authorize a construction loan for that construction work together with a lien on Summit Pointe’s downtown office as security for the loan, and to conduct any other business that may come before the Board.
Public comments will be accepted before the Board considers the action items noted above.
Pursuant to Section 3a of the Open Meetings Act, MCL 15.263a, this meeting will be conducted electronically to allow Summit Pointe to conduct its public business, and the general public to participate, without unduly compromising the health, safety, and welfare of meeting participants during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The basis to conduct this meeting electronically is the extension of the local state of emergency related to COVID-19 approved and adopted by the Calhoun County Board of Commissioners by Resolution 174-2020, on October 15, 2020.

If you join before the meeting has begun, you’ll be placed in a virtual “waiting room” until the Board’s Chair is prepared to call the meeting to order.
Microphones for members of the public will remain on mute throughout the duration of the meeting, except during the Public Comment portion of the Agenda. If you want to make a comment during the meeting, simply click the “raise hand” button either before or during the Public Comment portion of the agenda, and the meeting host will invite you to unmute your microphone in the order your request is received. If you prefer to have a comment read during the meeting, you may send comments beforehand through the Board Contact page of this website at https://www.summitpointe.org/board-contact/. The Board will not accept comments during the meeting through the “chat” feature on Zoom.

To provide a public comment using this method of joining the meeting, you must submit comments beforehand using the Board Contact page above.
Members of the public who wish to comment are permitted, but will not be required as a condition of providing comments, to state their name or other identifying information.
